Congratulations, Schmiezi!

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: Long-service Medals

I'm five days late – sorry for my inattentiveness, Schmiezi!
(I should have watched Sherlock's sleeve at the pool more carefully!)

Three years and five days (or 1,100 days: a nice round figure, isn't it?)– that's quite a great job which required a special resilience of you.

Congratulations!!

Without you, the forum would have been a different one. So good to have you here!
(Just pour yourself another cup of tea and stay a big little bit longer.
When you will have finished your fourth year here, series four will be appearing on the horizon...)
