I left the Martin pic up as it doesn't actually spoil any of the storyline, it just makes him look like an idiot.

Sad, but true! Nobody should wear one of these, right? (And I say that as a person who is coming from and still living in a part of Germany where ordinary people honestly think it's a good idea to have one...)

I hate facial hair.
I know I'll have to tolerate it when the series airs, but I sure as heck don't see why I have to put up with it before then!

Well, yes, but that doesn't mean he has to wear one. I think it's for the reasons stated above and it'll come off sooner or later. As for the canon Sherlock is described having a widow's peak (at least I think so) and straightened hair and don't we all love the curls?

Incidentally, I'd missed the reasons suggested for the tash....but like I say, I'll just wait til the airing.

And I suppose on the grand scale of things, this is the least of our problems!
But having just seen my latest spoiler, I'm glad that I was right with one of my predictiions for S3, even tho I was shouted down at the time. Think it may have been on one of my other boards.

They go til May, then have a few months off while Martin is in New Zealand, think they're due to finish in August.
