After seeing it mentioned with high praise at least a dozen times here I decided to look up and read "Alone On the Water.'
I know realize the severity of my mistake. While beautiful and moving, I am far to new to Sherlock fandom to deal with the emotional after-effects of such a fan fic.
Now, I you'll all excuse me I intend to spend the next hour or two in the fetal position clutching my Tinkerbell blankie and sobbing WHY WHY WHY!I know how you feel...Alone On The Water was the first Sherlock fanfiction I read, not very long after having seen both seasons (twice in quick succession
) and before joining the forum. I think I heard about it after a comment someone made on a Johnlock YouTube video. Anyway, I looked it up and read it...bad idea since I'd just watched The Reichenbach Fall (the second time) only the day before...I was already crying from that, and after having read Alone On The Water, my heart completely shattered
Anyway, these have probably been posted already, but anyway...two of my favs
