AND a cat doesn't ask: Why are you laughing? Why are you crying? Why are you staring? Why are you thudding? Hello? What's wrong with you?
Nope. I get why are you patting me wrong, why are you not patting me at all, wrong or otherwise, why are you waking me up to pat me, why is my litter box dirty, why is my dish empty, can I drink out of your water glass, 'cause your water is better than mine. And that's about it for asking stuff. Pretty simple, all in all.

LOL ancientsgate. "Why can't I sit on your lap (because the laptop is already sitting there)?"

I know realize the severity of my mistake. While beautiful and moving, I am far to new to Sherlock fandom to deal with the emotional after-effects of such a fan fic.
Now, I you'll all excuse me I intend to spend the next hour or two in the fetal position clutching my Tinkerbell blankie and sobbing WHY WHY WHY!
I know how you feel...Alone On The Water was the first Sherlock fanfiction I read, not very long after having seen both seasons (twice in quick succession ) and before joining the forum. I think I heard about it after a comment someone made on a Johnlock YouTube video. Anyway, I looked it up and read it...bad idea since I'd just watched The Reichenbach Fall (the second time) only the day before...I was already crying from that, and after having read Alone On The Water, my heart completely shattered
Anyway, these have probably been posted already, but anyway...two of my favs

@tonnaree. I must've been feeling particularly self-masochistic at that point for some reason, because shortly after reading the fanfiction I found the video and watched that too...so frickin' sad! Many, many tears were shed

If I listed all my objects of lust this topic would be longer than the Favorite Benedict Pic thread. LOL
Look here and you'll see what I mean!
When I was VERY young there was Donnie Osmond (don't judge me!) Davie Jones, Parker Stevenson. And those names should prove how old I really am.
There are Hall of Famers like Harrison Ford, Sting, Bono and Don Henley. Men I will love forever and always.
There are the up and comers like Geard Butler, Michael Fassbender, Alexander Skarsgard, and Vigo Mortensen.
And then there is the love of my fangirl life. The last time I was obsessed to the extent that I am with Benny Boy now.
DAVID DUCHOVNY.
*swoon* *thud*
It was a lot like how I found Ben. A friend kept bugging me to watch X-Files. I finally gave in and discovered my new favorite show. I also could not stop wondering who the frak that long tall piece of sex on a stick was.
Those eyes. Those lips. THAT DARK VELVET VOICE~! I was a gonner.
DD is still my number one. Please don't be offended ladie, you won't kick me out for admiting that will you! But as of now Mr. C is an extremely close number two.

I got you beat by a country mile. My first fannish interests were the kid on a TV western called The Rifleman, no idea what the actor's name was now, but I was 11 and he was like 13 and he was CUTE. Then came Ben Casey and Dr. Kildare, both of them. And then the Beatles, starting in 1963. So... you thought YOU were old. Not so much.

I can just vaguely remember Doctor Kildare. That was Richard Chamberlain I think.
Ooo we are going off topic here. I'll make a topic for 'old' TV programmes we were fans of (or of which we were fans) in the Television thread.

Johnny Crawford was Mark McCain on the Rifleman, AG and that was one of my favorite shows too. Going back even further I fell for Guy Williams as Zorro on Disney and Gardner McKay in 'Adventures in Paradise'. Oh god am I old! Okay, enough off topic but it helps to pass time waiting for Series 3.

Oh, you remembered the actor's name and his character name, too. I was too lazy to go to google and find them. Thanks for the memories.
