Years ago, my sister lived in a small house at the end of a long driveway, out in the country. When she saw the local religious group missionaries out on their rounds and walking towards her house, she'd go out back and let her geese out of their pen. Needless to say, the missionary guys didn't come back after they ran into those white harbingers of doom more than once!  Geese are tough, as are swans. Don't mess with them.
