Since it is now 12 days until Christmas, anyone want to try re-writing the Twelve Days of Christmas carol with Sherlock-related things?
I'll start.
On the first day of Chirstmas, Sherlock gave to me
An ashtray from 2-2-1-B!

Wouldn't we be wanting two of something, to fit with the song?

OK, this could be interesting with maybe not all countries knowing the song.
Here's the lyrics & a clip of the song being sung:
"The Twelve Days of Christmas" is a cumulative song, meaning that each verse is built on top of the previous verses. There are twelve verses, each describing a gift given by "my true love" on one of the twelve days of Christmas.
...and so forth, until the last verse:
On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...
12 Drummers Drumming
11 Pipers Piping
10 Lords-a-Leaping
9 Ladies Dancing
8 Maids-a-Milking
7 Swans-a-Swimming
6 Geese-a-Laying
5 Gold Rings
4 Colly Birds
3 French Hens
2 Turtle Doves
And a Partridge in a Pear Tree.
Mysuggestion would be to change it to :
On the first day of Chirstmas, Sherlock gave to me
2 Golden skulls
and an ashtray from 2-2-1-B!
(carry on from here perhaps?)

Fine, I read it but didn't observe the numbers of things. Good idea.

Found myself completely confused - until I listened to the song right now.
Fine, who starts?

The Skull started, I corrected Susi's line to fit the song, so we can carry on from that one. I'll add the next to keep it going.
On the Third day of Chirstmas, Sherlock gave to me
3 violins
2 Golden skulls
and an ashtray from 2-2-1-B!
I'm quite sure we'll end up with several sets of '12 days' in no time at all.

Wow, that didn't take long. I think my favorite verse is "4 severed thumbs".
Want to try another carol? Any ideas?

Awww... shoot... the limited entries do fill up fast... I almost wish there had been room for the smartphones and access cards and a harpoon or crown jewel!! ;DD Ah well... not to mention I'm just finding it so entertainingly cute to imagine our own versions of carols, it made an hour fly by at work musing different songs that are both A. fairly universal, and B. more easily lend themselves to tweaked lyrics, giggling at some of the lines I came up with. Hope you don't mind this geek continuing the fest! Shall we carol?
"Silent Night" is one of my favorite songs, and fits both of the above-mentioned traits for a workable song, and figuring most people know it. Well.... ahem.... know the traditional version, that is...... let's see what happens when it's about Sherlock....
Silent night, hateful night
All is calm, Sherlock's right
Boredom leads to being annoyed.
Cheer him up before he destroys--
Mrs. Hudson's wa--all!! Mrs. Hudson's wall.
Next verse, anyone?

Silent night, Henry Knight
Hunting hounds by flashlight
See the rabbit glowing bright
Giant canine gives Watson a fright
Deep in Baskerville la-ab!
Deep in Baskerville lab.
