My current project

After months with Sherlock, Sherlock and.... Sherlock.....I finally remembered one of my other hobbies and unpacked some clay.
I'd like to do some "face-/ head-deductions"  and this is the development so far. Easy to see that it has no chance anymore to become Sherlock; but maybe still chances for Christopher Tietjens?
No. This is just for fun.

Nice piece of work. Is he dreaming? Or is she a girl?

Thank you. Eyes are most difficult, therefore still closed.    Not finished, yet, for a looooooooong time.... *sigh*

Re: My current project

Oh, the lips. I definitely recognize the lips. Cupid's bow. Aaah.

Re: My current project

I hope you're going to keep posting pictures as it goes along. It will be neat to watch the development.

With those lips - who needs ears anyway?

Re: My current project

Once again, just to avoid misunderstandings: despite the cupid's bow - it will not gona be Sherlock, Ben or anything related. I simply don't dare to try (yet).
Thank you for your friendly comments; I'll post developments from time to time if you like.

In my "clay-forum" I've been already told that the proportions are not quite right. And I know that.
But I don't care for now. It's an experiment!

Re: My current project

Meanwhile I have been working on the lips and the eyes.
The result was this:

What I didn't like at all. Lips are fine, but the eyes had to go back into the microwave for now.
Good time for a restart and putting the eyes a bit deeper the same time:

Now time for a break!

Re: My current project

Might be. There are times where I store quite a lot of body parts covered in plastic almost everywhere.

Re: My current project

I think we should have added this as characteristic of Sherlock's future wife in the alphabet game

Thanks. Harriet is right. It looks like his eyes are opening from one shot to the next. It would be interesting at the end to run all the shots in succession.
