Is it just me, or would anyone else like to see BC play Bertie Wooster?
Pro: Bertie is the polar opposite of Sherlock (except the aversion-to-girls thing) and he gets to show off his comedic skill. Con: he says he's tired of casting-by-accent roles, and there is an element of that in it.

Sometime before House, my sibling and I were watching W&J on DVD, and agreed that with that face, Hugh Laurie could never play anything but a doofus. I guess we had it wrong.
Anyway, BC does have that unusual kind of face that can either be either very attractive or a bit goofy. (Don't yell at me, anyone! I find his Sherlock very attractive!) He might be a bit old for Bertie, though.

Veece, I have to confess that in one scene in ASiB I had to think of Laurel in Laurel and Hardy for a moment. -> a bit goofy
Now you may guess which scene it was

No, you are right about the goofy face. Sometimes it comes through at odd moments, I've noticed. I suppose he is too old to do the Wooster, but I think he'd be fabulous at it anyway. Then again, I think he's sexy reading children's stories, so my judgement may be off.
