Kentuckian Sherlockian

Hello!  My name is Wendy and I've been Sherlocked!  I came to this forum hoping to meet other obsessed like-minded individuals from all over the world!

A few things about myself:  I am 38 and I live in a small town in central Kentucky, USA.  I'm an Anglophile and love watching British television as much as I can!  I think I'm currently watching more British shows than American (Doctor Who, Sherlock (of course), Merlin, Downton Abbey, Luther, Peep Show, Miranda, Great British Bake Off...).  My university years were spent listening to Britpop (Blur, Pulp, Oasis, Supergrass) and to this day I adore Radiohead!

Sadly, I've never been to the UK, but hope to next year.  When I do, I'll be sure to check out all the important landmarks:  Speedy's, St Bart's, Bristol South swimming pool, etc.

I look forward to reading and posting on this forum to help make the looooong wait until Series 3 a little more bearable!

Hello and welcome to the forum Wendy. What amazingly good taste you have Sherlock, Doctor Who and Miranda. From here in Merry England.

I'm from France, like you i love british shows (much more the ones of my country they are not really interesting at all, for me anyway).

"Blur, Pulp, Oasis, Supergrass" yeah sounds great ! I'm 4 years younger than you and i never been to university but this bands (and others) are the soundtrack of well... my young years lol.

Hi, sherlockskitty! *waves*

When I make it to London, the Sherlock Holmes museum will most definitely be on my list!  I've heard good things about it as well!
