    was enough for me.

    Believe me, there is much more to this film than just blood and fists and macho men (and Ben is neither a macho man in this movie nor does he think with his fists instead of his head... he's sort of a broken guy, I would say...). It actually tells a pretty serious story - but I can understand if blood and violence is not for anyone. And there is blood and violence in the film, definitely.
    Btw, the trailer doesn't really show what the film is about. Going by the trailer (which I've seen dozens of times before the film was released), I expected something a bit different.

    I agree with you, Solar. There is much food for thought in the film. And Benedict has many sides in this film (as ever).

    Many sides, absolutely. I'd say he has to go through a lot of different emotions in this film, and you can read all those emotions wonderfully in his face... as always..

    And was it my imagination or did his voice seem even deeper in this?  To my ears it felt like he had lowered it even more than normal.

    He can do all sorts of things with his voice. Just think of CP where it sounds much higher. I think he can make it sound deeper as well. And then there is of course Smaug ...

    nice heh? although maybe too much make up or photoshop on the face, not necessary for me
