BAMF!Ben!!
Funny how in slo-mo you can see that he's not actually touching the guy, with the exception of the hand to his back to shove him into the wall. And then the other guy breaks the impact of his head hitting the wall with his left fist, which contacts first. *grin* Too cool, to see how they accomplish those fights, making them look so real, but no one gets hurt.
The way he moves in this last pic is just... amazing. It's definitely choreographed (of course), but just look at how he moves when he's bending his knee and then getting back up and turning around... it does have a certain elegance to it, don't you think? Oh, I know, this doesn't sound right...

Very balletic.

A totally underrated film. Picture-wise.

Wow, Susi! Going by just this picture - you must be completely right...

I guess I only understood half of what was said in that movie, especially Tom Hardy was a nightmare to listen to. Nevertheless... yes, there is something to those pics...

This is from "The Last Enemy" which is not with Tom Hardy but hard to understand as well because it has a complicated plot AND Robert Carlyle in it.
Offline
Ah, okay, my mistake. But you can indeed just switch Tom Hardy for Robert Carlyle, because just like Hardy in "Stuart", Carlyle was a nightmare to listen to in TLE.

True. And both films without any subtitles. The same goes for Wreckers. The acoustics are a nightmare.

Want to see some more?

I only understood about half of the dialogue in Third Star, and I supposedly speak English, lol. Pretty to look at, but....
Some of the Sherlock dialogue was a mystery to me until I finally got my DVDs. They all speak very rapidly, as everyone does in their native tongue, and use lots and lots of Brit-speak. It was lovely when I could finally read what I'd heard them saying but hadn't understood for so long.
The Sherlock in the American series Elementary, however, has had most of his British removed, apparently so the American audience can understand him. I know Jonny Lee Miller is more British than that, lol. I can barely detect an accent on him, and he almost never uses a Britishism. What a shame, to take the British out of any Sherlock like that.

That's true even if it is for the sake of an American audience. The good thing about "Third Star" is that there is a copy of the script on the Internet. And I read "Stuart" after having watched the film and kept thinking, well, now I understand what the whole story was about. I understood most of Benedict's dialogue but listening to Tom Hardy was horrible.

Umm… just a normal picture of his face then, how about?
(don't worry…. I'm already on the floor)
Offline
Yes, thank you, totally normal. As far as the word can be applied to this man.
P.S: Eyes ... eyes .... eyes ...

Pizza...? Not quite...

Oh, and Russell: the words 'normal' and 'his face' in one sentence...? I don't think so.

This is even better than the pizza, Solar. Latest thud of the day.
Am I wrong here or do his cheekbones get more and more ... what was the word?
