I like this picture because it reminds me of the lab scene in Hounds where Sherlock also put his feet on the table and was ready for the experiment to unfold.
In TRF when I saw him with his feet on the desk I was quite sure that he was relaxed and ready to face Moriarty. He looks as if he is well prepared, has a plan and is curious whether the rat will walk into the trap.

Mmm....that's really nifty!
I like this one, too: cool and calculating!

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Sorry, Russell, but we agreed to post no pics from series 3 in this thread. Could you please put it in one of the spoilers threads? Thank you.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Oh, I totally forgot about the fact that Sherlock actually used an umbrella to fake his death. *facepalm*

I understand this. Nice shot anyway.

Because he's a relative of Mary Poppins!    (heyy... wait... is that why Mycroft's so attached to his?  )

And, um...  I'm sorry, but I didn't realize this was from 3?  I could have sworn it was a pic from when they were filming TRF.  Not a spoiler!
(gotta run, but eh.... I'll move it later if still want me to!)

We solve crimes, I blog about it, and he forgets his pants.  I wouldn't hold out too much hope!

Just this morning you were all tiny and small and made of clay!

I'm working my way up the greasy pole.  It's… very greasy.  And…  pole-shaped.

Here's one I only discovered today.
I wouldn't mind him reading that paper to me...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

I BELIEVE IN SERIES 5!

Ha, great timing, just finished watching "Parade's End" ten minutes ago.
I'm really not so sure about the hair, but there are certain scenes in it... yummy.

edit: tobe, that pic with the newspaper is really great. I imagine I could just sit there for hours watching him.

The hair's not my favourite either but he's so wonderful in PE.

@Susi: And he seems to be having tears in his eyes almost all the time. It's almost as if he could just turn it off and on like a tab.

Have you heard those Jaguar technical ads he's done for them? They were up on you tube for a long time, but I think Jag made them take them down, alas. I mean, I ask you, how does he do that, talk about naught to 60 in 3.2 seconds and naturally aspirated engines and get women all hot and bothered? The Voice of Secks. Yes.

You can start here, with a non-technical ad   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5kCfXIPcfw
If you want more, you can go to you tube and enter Benedict Cumberbatch Jaguar into their search engine and there's lots of others. Hotness.
