Nah. We're just Benedict-addled. We used to be normal, functioning adults, but now we spend our days repeatedly falling over in a swoon, and how many times you can hit your head on the way down before you start to be..... afffected?

Oh this is just too true.

'Cup of top gear, dear?' :D

Haha! Very true indeed

As for that picture...what else can I do but this - *THUD*

Going through all the pages of this thread I have missed during my absence ... not good for my health.
Here, have a screenshot from the Japan press conference in the meantime while I'm trying to recover.

Same shirt he wore on Top Gear. What's with men, wearing the same clothes over and over again? I'm envious that they get away with it, too!

Cmon, folks, that's as fake as they come. If it isn't, I'll eat my deerstalker. *smile*

Hehe!

I just love the sheer epicness of it! The sweeping stark beauty of the landscape and the powerful sensuous pose of Sherlock with his long sexy coat sweeping out elegantly behind him....*sigh*

Wonderful shot from Hounds.

I think the hairdresser pic is genuine, taken on Ibiza before his friends' wedding. I saw it somewhere on Twitter. He's wearing exactly the clothes he wore on the airport. What I don't like is people taking pics in secret and posting them all over the Net. It's clearly a private moment.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I could understand it more if people were excited thinking he was getting his Sherlock hair.
Even so, a tad intrusive!

Lord, what a bizarre picture. I don't know why I find it so bizarre, I just do.

And yes, clearly it's as if all of us are being peeping Toms, intruding on something the world is not supposed to see, even though most of us here on this forum are over 18 and trying mightily to be respectful. It's just the nature of the fandom beast, to get excited and start fangirling stuff all over the place.

I'm sure Benedict understands that this is a very real part of his celebrity, especially since most everyone carries a cell phone equipped with a camera right in their pocket. He must know that he will have pics snapped of him anywhere outside of a locked bedroom or bathroom, and that those images will end up literally god-knows-where.

Not excusing it, just sayin' this happens, and it will continue to happen. In fact, it's possible we ain't seen nothin' yet.

I still think it looks like a manip.
But anyway, I'll have to go out and buy a deerstalker ( a death frisbee? it's an ear hat, John!) so I can fry it up in a pan. *munch, munch*

Deerstalkers are quite tasteless, don't forget spices and seasonings and please post a photo of your meal then
