An absolute killer.

Yes, the embodiment of drama...

Because Benedict Cumberbatch is wearing a top hat, all arguments have been rendered invalid. O_O

He’s got a dog. We go to the pub on weekends. I’ve met his mum and dad …

… and his friends and all his family and I’ve no idea why I’m telling you this.

Look at that expression. I do wonder if his Sherlock role has given Ben permission to use some of the facets of his own personality that he doesn't usually let hang out so others can see. Fascinating.

He has what we Americans think of as a classic upper crust British face, the face of a Duke or Earl or something. Or a prince, I dunno. Very, very British, and very, very posh, except we don't use that word posh, lol.

But not because of the non-nomination at the BAFTAs. At least I hope so.

Instead of posh? I don't know. See, we don't do posh in the US. We're a bunch of cowboys, lololol. There are no classes here, no upper crust, etc. We've got your basic filthy rich, and we've got your basic welfare cases, and then we've got your basic everyone else in the middle, but no one here talks about class. We have no peerage in our society, and we never have. So the word posh.... we don't really have a direct "other word" that I can think of.

Ya think? I haven't seen the movie that comes from, whatever it is-- Parades End? To me, in that picture, he just looks snooty, lol. Nose in the air, detached, controlled. ??? Oh, and gorgeous. Yes.

LOL! I've been reading so much fanfic (and writing it!) that I've actually started thinking in those terms. It's like a whole new language! (Pun intended)
When I see that face I always think "strong, intelligent and even a little bit shy" and then I start thinking about cheeckbones and it all goes to hell!
But yeah, we need some new words: just to describe Cumberbatch. Is that so wrong?

I'm a responsible person and wouldn't post such a thing late in the evening. For our overseas members - you've been warned.
