Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Hit you, huh?  You gotta see this shoot, then... I distinctly remember seeing a couple of them around here, but some unfortunately cropped by people, or just small.  Links in huge hi-res delight to click bigger.  ;)))

A few years ago, Matt Humphrey did a project of 31 portraits in 31 days for a charity photography exhibition, including the likes of Spacey, Goldblum, Catherine Tate, Noel Clarke, and, obviously, Benedict.

(yes, the last two were likely darkened by a fan, but it's a neat contrast)

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Mm...  I know!  I also quite liked the 'High Life' photo shoot... the one we've seen a couple from before, when he plays with the dogs and drives a Jaguar around on the ice... thankfully Cumberbatchweb saved all the shots here...  (and then there's the article...)

http://www.benedictcumberbatch.co.uk/photos/ba-highlife-magazine-3/
http://highlife.ba.com/articles/benedict-cumberbatch-ice-driving-in-finland/

Seriously....  thud...

I think the thing I find most amusing/cute about everything with this one, is all the hullaballoo it raised... just a free, plain little in-flight magazine British Airways does, that they suddenly had no idea why people were stealing, asking if they could buy, and selling on ebay for a huge markup.  Then of course there was the spike in online chatter, the photographer joining in the fun, the fan-art, and... of course... one of those cupcakes:     They know by now...  Ben sells!

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I was laughing at myself yesterday, looking at the pix of Benedict and Sophie at Hay.
I was so frustrated that in every one she is behind him, so I couldn't get a good look at her.
I know, I'm pathetic!

Wow, this pic is amazing. I know, you only see that you're seeing nothing, but this 'nothing' ist just .

Beautiful. Very nostalgic mood in that pic.

Not so keen on the jumper but the other pics are lovely.

The jumper is a bit 'dad'ish... but the black/white pictures are so gorgeous!
