Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

That closeup... gosh. He's aged so damn well hasn't he? He's a fine man!

I am sure he is signing something in the last one... but it almost looks as if he's painting!

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Love those.  Geez those eyes again….  and yes, with aging well, too!  I love how someone found two quite similar pics and put them side by side to that effect.  Kinda fascinating how one's face matures… and adorable/impressive in his case….  can't help just staring at it for a bit.

I wonder where does he get those amazing features from…   (his great parents, aside)   (cheekbones!)
(saw someone post this on tumblr… a clipping found of his grandparents)

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Very similar pictures, indeed! Hard to say exactly what it is that changed, but you can see how he's changed.

Also, speaking of resemblance, if you look at pictures of Benedict's dad from when he was younger, even just from thirty years ago, you can really see the resemblance between the two of them.

Clueing for looks.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

He was handsome when he was younger too, but he's aged like a fine wine... I 'dig' the wrinkles and definition of his face!

And you know, with him there's no doubts where he gets those good genes from huh

Very unusual, frail kind of beauty....

Too pretty for words. Thankfully it looks like no one messed with his eye color here either.

Oh, so cool….  we were just talking about those great features that were passed down to him, and I see someone on my pinterest did a gif of just that:

Love it!  It certainly helps to have gorgeous parents.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I have never seen those morphing gifs before, but that photo of his dad is the one I had in mind where you can see more of a resemblance.  And that one with his mum also shows it.

Clueing for looks.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Lovely, Solar.
Vhanja, I assume that was from the infamous Caitlin Moran Q&A.
I hadn't seen that gif and it's almost as lovely as the footage that is kicking about of Martin hugging and Amanda kissing a(visibly upset)Benedict afterwards.
