Those magnetic pale eyes! Like amber....

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

WOW! I've never seen that shot before. Gosh, that's the definition of beauty!

Agreed. Paleness of the face, the dark colour of the hair, the magical glitter of the eyes... he looks as if he´s not even real.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Benedict is too good to be true! When I saw him in Hamlet the very first thought I had seeing him in front of me was "Wow, he really is real!!"

That´s exactly what I would be thinking in similar situation.

lol  I've had that experience with seeing/meeting people I only knew on TV or in the movies. Gosh, they look exactly like they do on TV!  And sound like them, too.  Like duh, huh?  They must hear that all the time from the public/fans.

Lol, I bet! What did I expect? That he was a 3D character?

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Yes, my thought at Hamlet was just that: he's exactly how he seems.
Oh and that is my favourite of Sherlock's dressing gowns.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Aw, yes, nakahara!  That wonderful period shoot they did for TIG.  Although just a tiny bit frustrating… those great pics that get floated all over the internet, wish people didn't always need to crop it down to just the person… the background itself is cool, too…!

And then here he is seen leaving!

One day he'll actually wear a jacket that fits him.

It does look like he borrowed daddy's jacket. But he's still handsome even then.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

The fit doesn't look that weird to me...not until you pointed it out, but I'm still not sure.  Still like it, though.

Clueing for looks.

That's the style now, apparently. I see it all over the place on TV, on talk shows, etc, when the guy celebs come on to talk about themselves and their newest projects. Really narrow trousers, small jackets that seem too short and tight.  'Course, on Ben, who could have been a model, if his stars had aligned in a different way, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g looks good. He has the height and lean build to pull off anything, pretty much. Which yes, I know goes without saying.  yum

Is it?  I thought it looked like it fit him… just a little short in the sleeves, and hem.  (But concur with him pulling off anything!)

You can be surprised though.  I met one of my idols and was totally gobsmacked by how short they were.
