Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Me too!
It is such a great TV series.
The last set were magnificent and actually, Benedict will have to be good to meet the standard of Ben Wishaw, Jeremy Irons and Tom Hiddleston...

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

After seeing him in Hamlet (for the second time yesterday) I have no trouble at all imagining that Benedict Cumberbatch is fully capable of meeting (or exceeding, in fact) any standards set by Irons, Whishaw or Hiddleston.

Looking forward to seeing him - I'll bet anything he will be smashing!

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I saw Hamlet live, too!
I am in no way demeaning Benedict, rather just emphasisng how good the first series of Hollow Crown was. I was so glad Ben Wishaw got a BAFTA. Much deserved, the finest Richard II ever.

True face of Sauron. No one told me he was such a sympathetic looking young man.... bossy but adorable.

This is fantastic. Looks a bit like Galadriel in FOTR going back to normal from her Dark Queen modus, but he doesn't need any special effects added.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Lovely photos from the ceremony.  The expression on Benedict's face in the one you posted, Val, reminds me of myself in similar situations of wining contests or getting awards (though of course I've never received anything THAT prestigious).  You're trying not to smile too much and get too excited, but it's hard to contain yourself.

This reminds me of his pics as a boy - the same cheeky smile. As if he was up to something...

He looked beautiful today. Way more than just handsome and dashing. Wow!

Gosh a few years ago I'd never go for a man in a suit. Lol! But gosh he does scrub up well doesn't he??

Queen rarely smiles during her public appearances, yet she beams at Benedict....
Is she a fan, maybe?
