What's the consensus around here... are those intensely mesmerising eyes of his considered to be blue or grey?
Sometimes when I look at them I think they are definitely grey and then other times I am convinced they are definitely blue!

When I look into Benedict's eyes I see the secrets of the universe.

Not blue, that's for sure. I've seen lots of photos that have been manipped to make his eyes blue (various shades of bright blue, turquoise, baby blue, you name it), which sets my teeth on edge, just because the real color is so beautiful, and why do people think they can improve on them? I call his eyes green. Sometimes they're the color of aged copper-- you know that green that copper becomes when it gets that patina? I read a fic once where the author described them as the color of the Irish Sea at dawn-- romantic nonsense, but I liked it and never forgot it. So grayish-green, I guess.

The answer is yes two both. Benedict has a medical condition that makes his eyes change colour depending on the light.Â
He does have a good-sized brown spot just above the pupil of his right eye that you can see when he opens his eyes wide. Having brown spots of various sizes in light-colored eyes is called heterochromia iridium. But it doesn't change with the light.
Again, there have been so many many instances where manippers have gotten ahold of images of Ben's eyes and have sat and messed with the color/brightness, etc. of them, it's hard to know what they really look like, if you just see his images in print. Seeing him on TV or the movies shows their true color.

Sometimes his eyes look green.
I prefer them to look at me. Â

Too funny. Look up the meaning of "blown away" in the dictionary, and there's a picture of his face!

HA!
The look on that fellow's face! I think my reaction might be the same except I would definitely have my mouth wide open in amazement (and I admit there probably would be a bit of drool involved too).
BC certainly does have a very determined look on his face. A very good looking kind of determined.

Well, honestly, we don't really see much, do we? Jacket is obscuring everything.
Also, I don't feel comfortable staring at his bum with his parents present. And that goes for both Benedict and Sherlock.Â

Not sure what it says about me... but I can completely ignore the parents and zero in on the thing... and I do see it.
I guess you see what you want to seeÂ

There are other people in that picture?

Haha, you guys are worse than me.Â
Which is reassuring.

You too can be this bad.
It just takes years of training and determination.

When I first came to this thread of temptation I too was an innocent soul...Â
It's a dangerous place and I entirely blame BenÂ

My innocence was ruined back in my HP-days.Â
It's good to meet like-minded people.Â

At least they can't complain. (I've been starting at his bum for quite a while now - purely for science of course - and didn't hear them say a word about it.)
