Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

So sad about Ben being in Toronto this week when I have a layover there next week. *sighs*

That beard is making me feel all funny inside...

Mary

John: That's clever. So you scratch their backs and...
Sherlock: Yes. And then disinfect myself.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I hate the beard, though I accept it's for a role.
Funny thing is, I have never seen Richard III depicted with a beard!

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Martin's Richard has a beard. And I love Benedict's.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I am usually not very fond of beards but it looks really good on him. Now we have to wait it will remain a stubbly thing or full-grown beard. I do not really think he will go for the same style that Martin had. Plus, I like it better this way.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

If they go into the direction of Tom Hiddleston's Henry in terms of costume and make up, I'll be sitting in front of the tele with a stupid grin on my face for the first half hour of THC.
But let's have another look at the beard:

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

As long as it's not only a mustache I'm perfectly fine with it.

I like this picture. I don't mind BC having a beard for a role - just shave it for Sherlock, Ben!

Oh, I love the stubble, don´t take it away from me!

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?
