I know this is off topic, but there were enough replies that I just want to say one last thing, especially in reply to MartaSt.
I agree that Sherlock and John reunion is sad and heartbreaking but to me moment when John is hitting Sherlock was definitely made to low the tension and to make viewers maybe not laugh but at least smile. And there no tragedy in that.
That is exactly what bothers me about that scene. That John hitting Sherlock not once, but thrice, is made out to be funny.
Also that we're supposed to go ha ha ha, Sherlock knows nothing about human nature. He's not nearly as dense about it as he likes to make himself out to be.
The writers chose to go that route instead of showing growth on Sherlock's part from his time away. I bet Sherlock missed John something fierce and the writers could have gone that route instead, showing a Sherlock who isn't necessarily contrite, but who has missed John and suspects that the same might be true.

I think a bit of Peter is in order, and I just love that smile we see right at the end of the movie...

Dumb question. Did Ben wear a wig for this? Or did they just straighten his hair within an inch of it's life. That does look like his natural color.

Yummy, new for me as well.

Oh, and I found fragment of interview with Gary Oldman when he is talking about Benedict. I have to say it melted my heart

I've heard that story before, but it's wonderful to hear it straight from Gary. What a darling, Ben is!

I'm at work right now, so I can't watch that clip, but I assume it's Gary talking about how Ben was with him on set when he had to jump into freezing water and Ben jumped in first...?
