Not just the trousers, but those denim shirts!
I'm looking at old photos of myself and more than slightly disturbed that I spent the bulk of the '90s wearing that exact same outfit. Not sure if I was dressing like a boy or he's dressing like a girl, but '90s 'fashion' appears to be back in style. Please do offer to take him shopping!!!
I do like the shoes; definitely less casual than the clothes. And I wonder if Zachary Quinto inspired the glasses?

Always have loved those glasses. I don't usually dig them but they are just amazing on him. There was this photo of him taken in KL a day before the Laureus event wearing that pair of glasses looking like the most handsome devil and I think was what made me decide that's it, I am going to see this man. (thank you, adorable glasses!)

It does! Thanks Richard. I think what makes Sherlock such a captivating experience is the visual feast (aside from Ben, I mean. XD) of colors and shapes. Wonderful color palettes and themes, and the number of times they exploit the beauty of Sherlock's eye close-ups because they're so vividly wonderful.

Concerning the curls in S3: I would agree that they somehow didn't have enough time to grow them long enough for TSoT, because they just are too short, plain and simple. That's why they look so different, in my opinion. I love those Sherlock curls, but in that second episode they looked odd in more than one scene. Yes, too much product in his hair.
Moments like this one are the reason why I love his curls:

I thought that in TSoT, they made him look, for the wedding scenes, as though he'd had a haircut specially for John's wedding - the kind of geeky haircut Sherlock would have.
But they made his lovely hair look like it had been chewed off!!

Too much twist and diffuse, perhaps?
Season 3
Season 2
Season 1
Definitely lushier, thicker curls in earlier seasons.

I think that too, because it's only in that episode he has the really short haircut.

...and those curls just need the freedom to curl wherever and however they want to!

A year ago today, desperate to talk about all things Sherlock, I searched the internet and found this forum. I signed up at once and knew I had found a fangirl home.
I have had a hell of a lot of fun in the last 365 days and I hope I haven't caused too much trouble!
To celebrate my forum anniversary I give you a very young TheaterBatch.
