Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

A new haircut! I prefer when he has longer hair but he looks gorgeous in any haircut... You know, I constantly feel like Captain Obvious in this thread

You and me both! That's the scene that convinced me that between Serbia and this scene, Sherlock went undercover in the future to dismantle the Starfleet part of Moriarty's web. Evidence? The Serbian torturer asked if Sherlock remembered sleep and at one point Khan says, "You should have let me sleep!"

And his undercover name? JOHN Harrison

It wasn't the sweater that made him look bulky...

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Because of your "Khan talking" and because of "like Khan" photos I feel urgent need to rewatch Star Trek instead of learning for my exam. Thank you girls, I love you

He's also played a Charles and Jim.

John: That's clever. So you scratch their backs and...

I think he's got a couple of action roles coming up. Or we could get lucky and  season four Sherlock decided to take up weight lifting as a hobby and he also go bored with his usual hair style and decided to cut it off....

What? Noooo. Sherlock shouldnt be lifting, and he need his curls! That's how Sherlock should be!

Marta, I rewatched Star Trek today  The pictures have bad influence on me...
I love how perfect and exact are his moves as Khan. I could spend hours watching him talking, sitting, running...

...or doing anything.

You mean you'd rather I be wrong and we have to wait eons more for Sherlock than for me to be right and for us to get Sherlock soon? I don't know which one of is the bigger fan.

I think it was Chris Pine who said that it was amazing to watch Benedict become Khan. Ben would be all loose limbed and jovial and then his spine would stiffen up and he'd become hard angles and Ben would be gone.

I second the motion.  Sherlock must have the Sherlock curls.

I'd rather wait long for a good Sherlock-ish season, than get one bulky, lifting-Sherlock season soon. He can save the muscles for other roles. But that's my opinion, Sherlock is my favourite of Bens roles and I guess I'd like him to stay like he's been in the former Sherlock-seasons

I think I'm the only one who doesn't like the curls, especially not in season 3, and most especially not in TSOT where the hair just looks dry and ragged and icky. But just in general, longish hair on a man does nothing for me, and I'm not crazy about dark hair. John's haircut (and colour) is much more my style. I find it funny how Ben is generally more my type than Martin is, but John is more my type than Sherlock is!

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

No I agree with you on the Sherlock hair Mary, especially season three.
He has gorgeous hair, even with it receding slightly along his hairline, and last season they seemed to have almost killed it with the hair dye - I suspect they bleach it or something first before putting the dye on.
And the curls looked odd at times - they're much better when allowed to take their natural shape.
Having said that though, I can't imagine Sherl any other way now!

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Go back to the first picture in this thread of the cute boyish Sherlock of the earlier seasons and compare it this frankly unrecognizeable old man with horrible frizzy hair.

I cannot get over how unattractive Ben/Sherlock looks in this scene even though it's a rare moment where his eyes are smiling, too, and you can tell that even though he is terribly lonely, he is genuinely happy for John.

(John in this same scene is unbelievably gorgeous. He is just radiating joy! Which makes Sherlock sadness infinitely more intolerable.)

Now let us all admire the loveliness of yesterday's event...

Why does he always look refreshingly different each time I see him in the same few articles of clothes? But hopefully today he has exhausted his casual clothes supply and we'll see a nice suit or even just a shirt and jeans tomorrow.  A girl can hope!

Haha, I noticed the hair too as season 3 promo shots came out. Perhaps there wasn't enough time to grow out his hair long enough and they frizzed it up to make up the volume?

I am beyond sick of seeing those purple trousers, but I am officially in love with that haircut. He is not allowed to cut, dye, or grow out his hair!

Not just the trousers, but those denim shirts! Nothing against them, but one would wonder if Ben needs more "public" clothes. I'd be happy to go shopping with him!
