Oh is that a challenge I hear......
I don't need an excuse!! All I need is for that pic to be very very HQ! And I will begin!

Yayyy!!!

I'm relying on Solar now to pop a HQ one on here now (sorry Harriet!) for the purposes of art.... ;)

Ha, you've got me there, clare. I have absolutely no idea what's HQ and what's not. I'd even consider the pic I posted to be HQ... so there you go. What do you need (apart from Benedict himself sitting there right in front of you... )?

Ha ha, clare won't be able to draw a proper line.

Oh oh, Benedict, what are you doing???

Wow! That doesn't even look like him!
There's a series returning to Sky Arts soon involving a search for the UK's best new Portrait Artist.
Finalists each week get to paint or draw four famous faces with the winner being commissioned to paint a famous person's portrait for the National Gallery.
Imagine being all ready and set with your Art materials - and Benedict walks out to pose for you!
I'd faint!!!

Well yes this is true, I just like to zoom right in and get the tiny details right! And where there is a lot of shadowing around the eyes it could be difficult.
This is a lovely distraction...

I probably won't get rid of those shadows altogether, but I'll see what I can do.
And btw, that pic is a beautiful distraction indeed...!

What ever he is doing, I LOVES it! That's the end of that...
