My friend keeps saying he was a great Sherlock but was too young and pale and skinny to be attractive as a man. I told her she mustn't judge before she saw the original version and tried to describe with words what she was missing, but she wouldn't hear. People!! But well, I don't mind enjoying my exclusive taste alone in RL as long as I have you girls!

I was watching the Sign of Three last night and my mum asked, 'who's this handsome ghost?' She doesn't see his appeal beyond his "vaguely" attractive looks though. That's the thing about Ben. His appeal isn't skin deep. It's the incredible level of acting prowess he has, that aura that dominates the screen, and when we peel back the on-screen character, we see this actually incredibly hardworking, charming, warm and humble man who is deeply passionate about his work. That does it for me.

Well I got four hours sleep so that's not bad given I saw THAT photo. Did dream though....

I honestly don't know how anyone can say he's not attractive, I just don't get how.
For me, I started finding him attractive in TRF, and then the Molly kiss tipped me over the edge.
Outside of Sherlock, my favourite role of his is James from Third Star. He's beautiful in it, inside and out, and his acting is out of this world. I just don't understand how it missed the eye of awards bods. He should have at least been nominated for something.

Mind you, I feel like that about all the parts he plays however big or small. He steals the screen every time for me.

I think he does brilliantly in everything he does. He's such an adaptive actor, he could get the role of anything and tackle it perfectly!
