You are not alone, I don´t find Daniel Craig remotely sexy (well, from his shoulders up ) and not a good choice for Bond. In my opinion he should always stay sort of a Gentleman, modernized or not, and for me DC didn´t convey this. I would totally go back to being a Bond-Fan if Ben took over!
Oh goodness, yes, me too!
Ben would be the perfect BondOh God no, he wouldn't!
Seriously... I think Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan were the most boring and inappropriate Bonds ever, and furthermore: James Bond is not a gentleman, at least not primarily. He can be a gentleman and very often is a gentleman, but essentially he is a worker, a tough worker who is doing his job without ever lookiing back. At least he was like that until, yes, Daniel Craig took over the role of Bond. Sean Connery almost never showed any sign of vulnerability, neither did Moore or Brosnan - maybe Timothy Dalton, but not very often, either. But Craig, his Bond is vulnerable, is thrown back into his own past. He is the most human Bond of all - and he can be a gentleman as well as a tough cookie.
And I think I'd like to see Benedict play a Bond villain, but not Bond. I know he can be tough - KHAN! - as well as a perfect gentleman, but at this point I'd love him to play the villain to Craig's Bond.
That's my girl. As far as I know you by now, I expected this opinion.
From the style I see Benedict in a row with Moore and Brosnan. Dalton and Craig are so out of character compared to the first Bond ideas. But the last Bond film was brilliant. IMO...

And it somehow goes so damned well with the blond. Feeling a little faint...

I kind of fell to sleep, but to wake up to blonde batch wearing BSOS, it can't get any better than that!

Well, to me the first Bond idea is Sean Connery - and Roger Moore and Brosnan are as far away from Connery as possible, IMO. To me Daniel Craig is the first real Bond again after Connery. And if Benedict should be the next Bond (which I seriously doubt), I can only hope he would have as little in common with Moore and Brosnan as possible - because I find their Bonds just boooooring.
And I just loooove to disagree with you, dear.

Yes - and he looks almost child like here
I love that clip of him dancing in his Khan costume, too

I just love seeing Benedict in costumes being himself... especially when the character is so far from who he is!

Okay, from this point of view, Connery ... first Bond ... you are right. I just compared the look of Bonds portrayed by Moore and Brosnan with Benedict's style on the shown photo. And Brosnan was my taste.
I don't like the look of Daniel Craig as Bond, but I like the acting.
And we don't always disagree. I also doubt Benedict is going to play this role.
But it would be boooring without our little arguments, wouldn't it?

I have to admit that I really like Daniel Craig, as Bond and also in other roles - have you seen "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"? And I don't have a problem with the fact that he is a blonde James Bond - as lots of other people do. And if Benedict should ever consider to play James Bond, then I really hope he goes more into the direction of Craig, not Brosnan or Moore. To me they both are and look too plain and boring.

It's good that our taste differs. To "share" Benedict is "hard" enough.
Don't know the film you mentioned. But I really liked "Enduring Love".
