Just watching Theatre Live from sky arts that was on last night. There an interview with Ben before the play starts and the spark in his eyes as he talks about his craft....joyous.

I wish I could feel the same about my career!

I loved that part almost more than the play itself - loved watching how he prepared
I thought both Actors did a great job (did you notice Ben's tiny stumble over his lines at one point, bless him? He recovered brilliantly though)

And on a more shallow note - he looked lovely

He'll be so proud!
Seriously imagine Ben reading these conversation. I'd be scared out of my wits!

Clare I hope you one day can!

I remembered watching this on YT and just being blown away by his performance! I kept wondering how much work he put into memorizing all the lines.

Oh gosh, is that German? Speaking of German, have you seen that video of BC reading German? It probably doesn't sound like German at all. XD

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I haven't seen him read German.

I did, however, go all unnecessary in the video where he speaks Greek!

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I bet he's never spoken Danish... I have the biggest thing for people trying to speak Danish.

I have to look up him speaking German and Greek as soon as I get home!

Oh yes, I saw that too! Just when I thought he couldn't get any sexier.  This is the German one.

(starts at 11:23, but the whole interview's brilliant, Ben is brilliant, but isn't he always lol)

Clare you're on a roll today! XD I've never seen that one either! Looking sharp! By the way I have a weak spot for Ben's side profile. Captures his features so beautifully.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I am very glad that no one saw me donning my headphones in the office, listening to Benedict Cumberbatch trying to speak German. The operative word being "trying". Gosh, I grinned like an idiot.  His general pronunciation of German-specific sounds (like the hard R) isn't so bad, but he clearly has no grasp on how the actual words are supposed to sound. Suffice to say, without the text next to the video, it would have been very hard to decipher.

And, well, Benedict, Zivilisation is indeed a German word. Tsee-vee-lee-zah-tsiohn. German has loan words too, you know?
