Agree with Solarsystem.
To be really widely recognised, he's got to take on some of the roles like Star Trek etc., in order to be able to keep his name on the casting lists.
That way he can also afford to do the films with a smaller target audience in between times.
(And I also can't wait to see TIG!)
Then again, I always kind of hope (and that's probably pretty naive...) that he is able to come into contact with 'important' people in the business, even if it's through smaller projects. He obviously has come into contact with Clooney through AOC, and as we all know Clooney is also producing and directing movies - so he is a decision maker. Of course, if he does do Star Wars, then that means that he has impressed JJ enough to be cast once again for one of his movies.
You never really know which projects will leave an impression on important people in the business. It might not even always be a question of how big a film has been and how many people have seen him in it.

Owh, some of us are feeling rather glum today and my personal pick-me-up has always been smileyBatch so I thought some would make us feel a little better.

I'm sure my problems are a trifle compared to some, but I'm going through pollen hell these last two days. Itchy nose, itchy and burning eyes, and just overall aggravation, frustration and low patience for anything. To be fair, it started to get better after lunch, and at least the physical therapy yesterday helped with the back issues. Unexpectedly losing my dad just five weeks ago took its toll too. Today is one of those days where getting older really sucks.
But however frustrated by the little things I may be, there's always people who have it worse than me. Hugs go out to everyone who needs one today.

Mmm Sherlock lounging in his mind palace...
It's as if he's glaring at his misspelled name.

Hugs to you Teejay, it'll be the first anniversary of losing my grandmother on Saturday and that was a compete shock to us all, so I can partly imagine what you're going thru. I'm glad we've somewhere we can all comfort one another thru the rough times. Here for you any time xx

My eye got caught on my name further into the thread, and I managed to see what was said.
I have a few minutes spare, so I just thought I'd let everyone know that I'm so thankful for your support and it means a lot to me to know that you're here for me!
I don't know when I'll next be on here but I just want you all to know that I love you all! Xxx

Britannia Award Ben. I loved his acceptance speech, total Ben rant.

Thanks, you lovelies. I already feel a little better. I'm determined to go to yoga tonight too, and that usually helps a lot as well.

OMG, is this young Timothy Carlton?
But his son is ever-so-much better-looking (mom's genes undoubtedly)

Maybe she DID know who was behind her, hence the eyes. I'd do the same thing, turn to my friends and gasp, "It's him!"
