I feel compelled to add this, possibly my favourite picture of Ben but for a completely different reason.
As someone who has very close friends, indeed I call them my brothers in sisters, in Egypt, this message by Ben makes me love him implicitly. Today's media pump through information and pictures they want you to see, but what really is going on in Egypt is far worse. They're desperate for our media to portray it properly.
So thank you Ben for being on their side. I flipping love you!!!

Those strong arms, veins visable...
Gosh!
And I love him for that picture; As important as he seems to us places like Egypt is indeed a lot more important and should have a lot more coverage!

I love seeing fans visiting North Gower St, helps me live the experience through others until it's my turn to visit the place, so thank you Clare! Hope you took lots of pictures while you were there.
Here's my contribution for today.
Two of my favourite people together!
Thank you so much for posting this one, Le Bear Polar - it's made my morning

This thread is possibly the best thing to happen to me, you know. The amount of photos I have saved of Ben that have come from this thread is unreal, they're all so beautiful.
I just want to thank everyone in here because you all manage to make me smile, even on the worse days. I know that I am guaranteed to smile when I come on here and I really appreciate all of you!

Tinks - yeah I won't forget it in a hurry! I just wished I could've bumped into him while on my travels but alas...no. Saw Alfie Boe though!!
Rebecca - in the words of Sherlock in HLV, I feel the same! ;)

You know, TeeJay, the stupid thing with these large images is that many will be only able to see parts only of them at a time, way too large for many monitors
Hm, I think it's more a browser thing, because my browser automatically shrinks the image so that it will fit fully into the post, no matter how large the screen is. I shamelessly admit that I'm a fan of hi-res images, but if the majority would prefer that, I can make the images I post in this thread smaller in the future.

I can only agree to what you said; Rebecca! This thread is really keeping me right these days! Thank you everyone who contributes to these smiles on my lips!

Always nice to see Benedict on my Tumblr dash. I really quite like this one, but I wish people would make sure they spell check quotes they insert into images that they then put online.

Ooh lovely pic!! And I love the Sherlock one too (so dominant!)
I wonder what books he immerses himself in? With a mind like his I doubt they'd be easy reads!

This forum is keeping me sane better than any Tumblr page can, so thank you all, thud-mates.

I love to curl up with a book too (well, my Kindle, anyway!).
Lately though, I seem to be curling up with this thread!

Love it when BC goes full faux diva mode with these (annoyingly repetitive) questions.
Sadly his dry sense of humor can get lost in translation sometimes.

He tries his best to be ok with those daft questions doesn't he? But you can almost feel the discomfort - didn't Moffat say that he hates the sex symbol stuff?
Sad thing is, now he's seen as a sex symbol he'll probably get offered a lot of dream roles - roles that he should've been getting anyway because of his sheer talent!
( I don't mean it's sad he's getting film parts - just that it's sad he didn't get all these offers before!)

I find that I cringe watching most interviews with celebs. When they get the same questions asked over and over, or really stupid ones. Ben is really good about it, though you can see that Martin is often close to despairing. Unfortunately, it's all part of the job.

He's unbeliavably gracious about the very repetitive questions (sex symbol, Smaug voice, you-contacted-Julian-Assange, the 'Cumberbitches', the fanfiction) and he answers them each time as if he's answering for the first time.
