'bit random but I've been thinking I sort of miss my highschool look... the 'Robert Smith' one. It was so easy to maintain. Bit of wax in my short spiky hair, comb the long fringe, eyeliner, lipstick... BAM
My process to go out the door and to take it all off later has become pretty long... and I've still got lots to learn about makeup... I've become a bit of a glamour goth/kawaii punk woman these days...
Not to mention my very long hair... I love it, I really do... but compared to the 'Robert Smith' ish do it's a lot of work...

I LOVE Robert Smith!

Funny thing, when I cut my hair like that I wasn't thinking about looking like him... but I did! And I loved it! He's awesome!
I don't mind posting this one... because you wouldn't know me today by looking at it, lol!

Happy St Patrick's Day!
There's a St Patrick's Day parade through central London on Sunday, I might pop down and have a look.
Hope you all have a fun weekend

Here's wishing every one a happy season: hope you are all where you want to be, with who you want to be with and doing whatever you enjoy. Most of all I hope everyone is well.

I start with three apologies:
1. firstly for answering my own comment.
2. in case this has been discussed before.
3. I didn't really know where to put it.
But I have just had one of those blinding flashes of inspiration, or rather a gestalt moment of revelation! In fact in the context, maybe that should be a Damascus Road experience...
Possibly I am the only person on this forum, possibly in the fandom, maybe of all Sherlockians who did not already know this:
I have ONLY just discovered why the Diogenes club has that name!
In my defence, I knew the story of the individual, but didn't recall his name...

It's OK. I doubt everyone knows that, and I didn't know right away either until a professor mentioned Diogenes in a class.
Diogenes is a fitting name for a club attended by a cynical person like Mycroft.

Spill it, ladies. Why is it a fitting name? There must have been more cynical people around since Diogenes. All I know about him is that he was living in a barrel and went looking for humans with a lantern in broad daylight.

I think the 'alone in a barrel', is all you need!

I hadn't heard about the part about the barrel before. Only that he was a famous cynic. But that makes even more sense for a gentleman's club, now that I know that.

Omg I just learned how to get my signature and profile photo up. It was a little frustrating @ first, but I finally got it!!
