You imply that you need to get to the last episode since you forgot in the midst of addiction, but Sherlock came out a bit ago (i.e. around when your life was taken over ;)), and we just finally got the whole second season of HoC only a week ago. Unless you mean you were going back and forth between them recently. Or… now it just occurs to me if you meant a different version of it, or the first season, just now catching. Inquiring minds are annoyingly noisy.

Ugh, I'm sort of nervous having that meeting tomorrow with the Eurovision people; I'm going to meet my fellow delegation host for Ireland. Wonder if they are nice? It would be terrible if we couldn't get along! But well, of course we will... I may be a bit of an introvert but somehow people seem to like me; most of the time.

Hee hee.. no, I am terribly behind and didn´t even know the second season was already available. So I meant the last episode of the first season.. but good to know, hubby will be delighted! (He enjoys it much more than I do, for me it is sometimes depressingly realistic.. but yeah, fascinating indeed!)

Well it could have gone worse. But I think he was a little miffed I was so 'young'... he's about 50 and we got to talk a few words and then he left. I bet he'll come around though! It'll be cool.

And so many awesome things and secrets I've heard today! The Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen is going to be AWESOME!

Ha, cool. Just wondered. Yes, yes, yes… and it's a doozy so far. Of course. Love the 'sharpness' of it, but agree a bit with you as well, on the depressing realistic part. It just gets more twisted… You're not even sure -who- you want to get the upper hand anymore.

I just hung up from a man calling me from a mens amagzine; it's sort of a porn/ish magazine... I couldn't hear half of what he was saying but I was guessing he was trying to sell me something so I told him I was busy.

I just remembered I entered a contest with them, and they are finding the winner today. Oh bugger! I could use a crate of energy drink!

I really can't stop laughing...

I have a profile on a site for Extra's and other low end acting work; I've not paid my subscription so my options are limited and well...

I got an email earlier today from an agent who had a look at my profile and apparently found me 'Natural and beautiful' and wanted me to audition for a beauty pageant... I guess I'm flattered but... well I'm plus size and I have put that in my profile... and from what I can tell about that pageant they are not looking for plus size models.

But seriously, why am I laughing?

Did it occur to you that we almost stopped to discuss the plot of series 3 already? And it is only three months after the original airdate in the U.K.
Fans talk about clothes, songs, movies, Mr. Cumberbatch's outfit...
Some months onwards we might have to dust the frames on our new banner.
Somebody should toss some stones into the fan's lake...

Yes, Be, I recognized that, too.
The reason might be that almost any discussion ended up in Mary and there are fans who really like her and like the development the series has taken with her. They got upset that other fans feel uneasy about the changes in the series and about characteristics she showed and deeds she did. At some point there was hardly any reasoning left. The fandom is a bit split about the series.

That would mean that she managed to talk John round to talk to Sherlock again but achieved to drive a wedge between fans to not talk to each other because of anxiety to argue?
Imo, it's perfectly fine to argue and come to the conclusion that you don't agree.
And at the end of the day I don't believe that we came to the core of series 3 yet. There are a lot of simply impossible things....

I just had a bit of a funny thought... I really want to visit a smith and learn some tricks...

My family has been smiths for houndreds of years... right until my grandpa became a barber, my mother a caretaker for mentally and physically disabled patients, my aunt a teacher... and me a secretary.

One of my ancestors even crafted one of the first bikes in Denmark and had to assist the Danish king at the time riding on it...

I have never even visited a smith and I can't ride a bike. That is so wrong...

Phantom, you can learn to ride a bike if you want to. It's not astrophysics.
I am looking forward to attend an event about body language tomorrow. Maybe I can learn to be a little bit like Sherlock when I look at people.

Well it is to me... because of the twist in my spine my balance is so off that I can't sit upright on a bike...

That event sounds fun! I've always loved learning about body language!

I am sorry to hear that. I suppose a tricycle won't do either? I have seen bikes where you can practically lie in and there is no balace to keep. A neighbour of mine who has motoric problems used a gocart instead of a bycicle. I hope you found an alternative fitting for you.

I have been thinking about trying a tricycle but then there's the whole social stigma... and my mental blockage about bikes after my mothers methods. So I'll just be happy walking or using public transport.

I'm slowly staring to learn to live with my bad balance, some years ago I could fall over just standing around... I'm still curious about my x ray results this Friday. I've never seen the twist in my spine... then again no one has!
