I´m sorry to hear that, Dramagod.. that sucks.
But I decided to boycott Valentine´s Day long ago, I don´t like being told when to be especially romantic or funny (German carnival coming up, I´m tense already because of all of the parties I have to go to with the kids.. really not my area.) So no, no romance in the air here, but I was very fine with it.

@Schmiezi: Good to hear you are feeling better and are allowed to get up a bit!

Well I spent the day with my mother... That's how romantic mine was.

At least I had the chance to spend time with my pets that live with her and she cooked up a mean roast pork!

Aw what an amazing day spent with my best friend! I seriously love how random she is and so full of life!

We were going to watch August Osage County but she came early so I started out showing her Khan. I have now heard her fangirl scream! I've seem to have constructed a Benedict Cumberbatch fan! We then went to watch the movie and we had to grab each other not to squeal when we first saw Ben so we wouldn't disturb the elderly audience...

Coming home we were a bit emotional so I showed her TEH, *sigh* gosh it feels so awesome being able to fan girl a whole day! And with someone who doesn't think you're a nutter!

Throaty thing for nearly a fortnight? We have exactly the same.. Whole family is infected, I had the hell of a night this night and the night before with crying children.. how are you supposed to get better without sleep?
My fingers are crossed for the both of us.. no one needs bad tonsilitis!

Aw, hope you feel better! Been avoiding a number of people with 'bugs' over here, too. And Zatoichi, of course not…
Worked, went to see another car in the (so tedious) quest for a new one, then holed up myself with food and my good friend, the Internet, since work tomorrow. Although most of you are probably in bed by now… It's all good… I hear another delightful train wreck of an episode of House of Cards calling… ha.

I'm down with a cold as well. It's really hard to avoid people with bugs when they actively seek you out.
