Hello again! What're you up to?

Lately, I've been putting together my family geneology. It's something that only some of my family has done, so it has always left a lot of holes...so I decided to do it myself for my children one day. As an American, you never know what you're going to get when you go back, and I found out some very interesting things. My mom's ancestors came from England, Scotland, Ireland, France and there's even some Native American, and all came to the US between 1600 and 1700. Many of them even fought in the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812 and almost all of them were in the Civil War...on bought sides. Almost all of them lived in the South. My dad's side is completely German and Prussian, and all of them came over between 1840 and 1900. Some fought for the Union in the Civil War, and they all lived in Wisconsin.
My husband is English, Welsh, Irish, Scottish, German, African American and Native American, and all came over between 1550 and 1650, and almost all of them fought in the Revolutionary War.
I've been printing it off for my children, so that they will know when they are older So yes, we are definitely mutts XD

Sorry for the late reply!
I'm very warm here, and it's making me miserable

It's pretty hot here, too. I'm thinking of taking my son out to play in the water later ^^

I have never laughed so much in my life.
My Mother just texted me saying: Just seen Ben on Top Gear. Fantastic.

That's amazing, besley!

She's 77 and for the Brits, she's like Hyacinth Bucket!

Bouquet! Surely!

(For none Brits)The joke is that you spell it' Bucket', but Hyacinth pronounces it Bouquet.
While we're on the subject, my dad has actually been stopped in the street, mistaken for Richard Wilson.

We'll see that, I believe, next week here in the US on BBC America. I think ep 2 is on tonight and the one Ben's on, ep 3 of this season, will be next Monday. Can't wait to see him!

I was going to ask if your dad is Richard. And does your mom have china decorated with hand-painted periwinkles? lol
Loved the four sisters, Hyacinth, Daisy, Rose and Violet. Lovely old show, and proof positive that humor is timeless. That show must be 20 years old now, at least, and it's as funny as ever. My favorite character was Daisy's husband, Onslow. I remember one scene where he and Daisy were sitting up reading in bed, and when he lifted up his book, you could clearly see the title, BACIC PRINCIPLES OF APPLIED PHYSICS. *snort!*

When I stayed with my friends in Tasmania, we watched really old episodes of "Keeping Up Appearances", "Red Dwarf", "Doctor Who" and "The Monkey King". In exchange, I showed them "Labyrinth", "The Dark Crystal" and "The Neverending Story". Good thing I was there for 4 weeks XD (we actually had time for sightseeing, too, lol).

Never seen either of them before, don't really know what they're about...but I needed them!
Am I obsessed?

No, because they are both brilliant.
