To me that shows how much tension there is in this episode and the huge contrast between the safety and calm in 221B and the trouble outside of it

...and a confirmation (not that we need it, but it is nice to see!) of how close their relationship is.

- "You were there, from start to finish."
What a foreshadowing quote regarding the end of the episode!

Well spotted MollyHFan. I hadn't noticed this, but I now feel the need to do some revision

Doesn't it show that the writers don't waste a word.

Just read ACD "The empty house". Very nice esp. visualizing Ben and Martin all the time.
Then I thought I should now also read all the other stuff, starting with A Study in Scarlet.
Then I thought after reading I could watch the DVDs again.
Then I thought about watching some other Sherlocks to compare.
Then I thought I have much to do until Season 3 is on air.

But then I thought: My GOD! This is not enough! It will be at least one year until then!!!

Study in Scarlet is our book club story at the moment.

Don't make people into heroes John. Heroes don't exist and if they did I wouldn't be one of them.

Re: Favourite moments

There is so much to do in the Sherlock Holmes world! It's not actually possible to get bored.

56 canon stories, countless pastiches and fan fics, hundreds of different tv and film adaptations, computer games...plus you owe it to ACD to read at least one of his other stories, seeing as how he didn't even like SH that much and wanted to be remembered for his other work as well.

There are definitely tons of things to do before Series 3. Enjoy!

It's not just a 'good' coat, it's a 'great' coat.

Re: Favourite moments

TTT, a few of us are fixated on Sherlock's wardrobe, particularly the coat and the purple shirt. You'll have to forgive us.
