Re: Cabin pressure

Good news and bad news at the same time... but I kind of like the idea of a 'proper' ending that hopefully has all of us say "oh yes, that was one hell of a ride and I'll come back and listen to all of this again as often as possible".
Then again, I can easily talk, I still have Series 4 ahead of me...

Lucky girl.  But I agree with you.

Aw only one more ep of Cabin Pressure

But he's right, better to end on a high than have it drag itself into obscurity.

I have to second and third this sentiment.  It's way worse to watch something dragged on and on till it's no longer what you once loved.

A new fan project came up:

Sigh. I was expecting something like this, and there might be others coming up in addition. To me, these "fan-projects" always have a slightly false ring to them, since the ulterior motive often seems to be the hope to be invited to the recording/random upcoming event if one's organized something like this, and subsequently being able to meet the cast (mainly, of course: Ben).

I admire your cynicism and indeed think it is realism.

Re: Cabin pressure

Yes, you're probably right for a big part of the fans, but not for everyone I think. I liked the idea of the "Travelling lemon"-book very much. It was great - and maybe one should leave it like that and just do nothing else.
Sometimes all those projects are quite too much, I agree.

Oh I thought the presentation of the book to John was lovely.

Re: Cabin pressure

Wow! I've been listening to these on You tube the last few nights and laughing so hard I've had tears running down my face. I love them all, but I think Carolyn is quickly becoming my favorite character.

I relate to Arthur on a deeply personal level.

Re: Cabin pressure

I have a customer in Norway and yesterday we had our weekly long talk. And I had to think of Arthur all the time, they are quite similar.

I watched Roger Allam as Falstaff in Henry IV at The Globe Theatre last night on TV. He is, as Arthur would say, brilliant!

Re: Cabin pressure

Thank you so much, Mattlocked, wonderful scene. (And the guy playing Prince Hal was in Parade's End.)
