Thanks for the hint, Ah-chie, i just checked it out online and that is one wonderful church!! I personally ain't the biggest romantic in the world so the Valentine's Day thing isn't that appealing to me but that doesn't matter in the slightest way, i hope they have a wonderful day and of course a good life together

I personally think that Twin Peaks is a real master piece. I love David Lynch's work. I also own the Badalamenti soundtrack, both for the series and the movie. Badalamenti's music is so vital for Lynch's visions, absolutely perfect match.
So far i don't have any view on the sequel, i guess i will wait and see. It is true what Vhanja said, it really rarely works to revive an old show. Then again it is Lynch and he has hardly ever disappointed me. I also wonder if the concept was really there from the start?I mean Laura Palmer says "I will see you again in 25 years"? I would hold Lynch totally capable of having that concept in his head right from the start but maybe i give him too much credit, we will see.

Absolutely fantastic list! I could so listen to music with this man! Bowie, The Stone Roses, The Stones, Björk, Radiohead, Debussy! His musical taste is right up my alley. http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/cute.png

If I am not mistaken "adore" is quite a strong verb to describe the feelings between two people.

I just got a text from my closest soulsister and she used exactly that word telling me she adores me. We have a very strong, very special friendship. So it is not that unusual to use that word in a friendship.

I wouldn´t say TEH ruined TRF for me.. I just can´t get them together somehow. I take what I see in TRF at face value, and none of the explanations given in TEH changes any of the feelings I have for it.. it´s completely disconnected for me. Maybe it changes in S4, when we get more information about the whole thing.

In a way I stopped taking the show serious after TRF.. Everything that comes next feels just like goofing around. It was entertaining, but it didn´t have any emotional impact (except for Sherlock´s near-death.. but as it turned out to be just a happy little accident made by a loving friend I´ll probably get over it someday, too). Up until the end of TRF the show feels like a good wine that is to be slowly discovered and savoured in all its nuances, afterwards it´s more like a big dose of sherbet powder.. fizzy, surprising, and somewhere between really good and really awful ^^. (No offense to anyone who loves it, just my personal feelings.) It feels like the show I fell for so hard stopped after S2, but luckily nothing I see in S3 changes the way I feel for things happening in S1 and S2.

Well, it is now rather pointless to write my own post because you have summed it up what i feel http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/wink.png

Actually i still cry reichenbach falls at the end of The Reichenbach Fall but mostly over John's sadness *sigh*
