Oh, I forgot about that. How could he not kill anyone in that situation? Unless of course, it wasn't real, though I always like to believe that it happened.

His Last Vow » Was Cam Sherlock's First Kill? » January 24, 2014 11:18 am

I've seen that there is a thread for Sherlock shooting Cam but my question is slightly different. I hope it's Ok making it a new topic.

Was Cam Sherlock's very first kill or has Sherlock killed before? I was thinking about his two year hiatus and wondered whether he was forced to kill anyone during that time.

Could Cam have been his first (cold blooded...if that's the right word) murder but he might have killed before in the line of protecting his own life while working his way through Moriartie's web? Even unintentional kills.

I ask because I'm curious as to what affect killing Cam will have on Sherlock in the long run. Will it affect him pschologically or will he find it easy to move on because Cam was such a bas**rd.

I'd be interested to hear what other people think.

Awards » National TV Awards 2014 - Sherlock wins Best TV Detective! » January 23, 2014 10:17 pm

Ha ha - loved the shorts! I love how different Benedict is to Sherlock. Like chalk and cheese! But that's what makes it so fun, and also shows what an amazing actor Ben is.
Thanks to those who posted the links.

Series Three News » Michael Price - Sherlock Soundtrack S3 Preview » January 23, 2014 7:28 pm

I've just pre-ordered my copy of the CD. Due out on the 27th. I love music to TV and movies and the Sherlock cd's never disappoint. Having now seen all three episodes of series 3 I think this is going to be the best cd to date.

Just my latest little fanfic -

https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10046770/1/The-Visitor

It's set after Sherlock got shot. He's laying in his hospital bed, Janine has just left, and he is about to get another visitor.

It's a Sherlock/Molly friendship fic.

If anyone has the time to have a read I'd be grateful. And I love reviews, thanks.

General Sherlock Discussion » Rank your favourite Sherlock episodes » January 21, 2014 10:20 pm

1. A Scandal In Belgravia (because I love his chemistry with Irene)
2. The Hounds of Baskerville (because I love the setting and mystery of Hounds)
3. A Study in Pink. (because of the introductions of everyone/everything)
4. The Reichenbach Fall (love its intensity)
5. His Last Vow. (love The Mind Palace scene)
6.  The Empty Hearse. (love the Molly/Sherlock scenes)
7. The Sign Of Three (love how fun it is)
8. The Great Game.
9. The Blind Banker.

But there are scenes in lower ranked ones that I still really love. To be honest, I love em all but if I had to choose an order that's what it would be).

His Last Vow » Molly being in Sherlock's Mind Palace » January 21, 2014 3:40 pm

Do you think Molly has been in Sherlock's Mind Palace before, or did her slapping him across the face at Barts put her higher up in his esteem (as strange as that might seem) and that prompted her to now be a part of his Mind Palace?   It just seemed like Molly was totally in charge in his Mind Palace, even more that Mycroft. Or do you think she was simply there because of her medical knowledge (like Anderson)?

Being a Sherlolly fan I like to think that she is getting more and more under his skin. Not necessarially in a romantic way (I wish!) but as close to it as someone like Sherlock is comfortable getting. Each episode I feel he is having more and more respect for her as a person...and moreover...as a woman.

Thanks for reading 'The Rescue' Wholocked. Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for recommending it.

Edit - and I just read your fic and loved it! Now I see that little scene as part of the episode!

The Sign of Three » Were John's parents at his wedding? » January 20, 2014 10:35 pm

Apologies if this subject has already been covered...
I know that we have now met Sherlock's (adorable) parents but were John's parents at his wedding? I would have thought they should have been. I know that Harry made her excuses but were John's parents there but simply not focussed upon as characters?

Costume » Colour and material of coat? » January 20, 2014 10:13 pm

Ah, thanks very much! I doubt I'll be able to find an exact replica of the material but I'm sure I'll find something close on Ebay.

Costume » Colour and material of coat? » January 20, 2014 10:07 pm

I'm attempting a OOAK Sherlock doll and wondered if anyone knows the material of his coat. Is it tweed? A particular make of tweed? And is it black or dark blue? I can never really tell. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Introductions Please... » A quick hello » January 20, 2014 10:01 pm

I've been a lurker here for a while. Series 3 has prompted me to finally join in the fun! Hubby and I have been Sherlock fans since the very first episode aired. I found Benedict's portrayal of Sherlock brilliant from the start. Initially I confess I found him rather odd looking (sorry!) but I grew to admire his uniqueness over time and now find him tres sexy - hee hee!
I'm not into JohnLock, I just prefer them as good friends, but each to their own. I'm more a Sherlolly shipper although I know it will probably never happen (at least we got that imaginary kiss though!!). I find Molly adorable. I see her as 'one of us', if you know what I mean. I think we can all relate to her.
I've written a bit of fanfiction over at fanfiction.net, under the name TheChimeraSculptress. I love writing and am working on a novel at the moment.
I also sculpt one of a kind dolls (still the amateur) and am now going to attempt a Sherlock doll!
Anyhoo...a big wave to everyone. I'm looking forward to joining in the chatting!
P.S....and I am totally fascinated by Sherlock's Mind Palace!
