I looked, with interest, at the bleeding portraits on Mycroft's wall, especially the one that looks exactly like him, hoping to see a  gentleman in a dress [Uncle Rudi, the cross-dresser, whom we never got to meet] and who was so instrumental in arranging Euros' care.Also, I missed something someone pointed out- the framed picture of Sherlock and Mycroft on a table in Mycroft's flat.

If someone else has mentioned this, please forgive me, but Sherlock's texting "Oh, what a beautiful Morning" made me think of Mycroft's imprisonment at Les Miz with his parents.Isn't Sherlock's text song from the musical "Oklahoma?" These boys and their love of musicals- and I mean Mark and Steven!

Playing the violin was always a comfort for Sherlock [and we didn't see him play at all the first 2 episodes]. It passed the time, and was a comfort, for Euros, in her long imprisonment. it was so fitting to see both she and Sherlock playing together at the end, for their mutual enjoyment , a kind of healing for both.

Does anyone know what movie Mycroft was watching at the beginning? It was obviously a favorite of his because he was saying the lines along with the actors? Also, I thought it was horribly ironic that Mycroft could shoot at the clown, which he feared, but declined to shoot the doctor.

Could her name be a fond nod to Euros Lynn, who has directed numerous episodes of Mark and Steven's other smash hit, Dr. Who?

When John is talking to his therapist at the beginning, and she mentions 'his friend' meaning Sherlock, she says Do I remind you of your friend?
