Mary will die; perhaps the writers will give her a redemptive arc in which she saves Sherlock's life, but sacrifices her own.

Baby Watson will be DNA tested and David will be the father.

Any other outcomes might devastate John even more and we really don't need any more angst going forward.

Maybe the title A Touch of Lavender was already taken.  So, we won't have to call it "The Gay Pilot" anymore.

Sherlock's relationship with Janine is explained by his crafty manipulation of her to assist him in entering Magnussen's office.  It was "human error" on Janine's part to trust Sherlock and fall for his ruse( (if, indeed she did.) The no sex part might have tipped her off to his scheme but Sherlock is a genius at getting others to provide him with exactly what he wants.

There is a live video stream with Ben from MTV now---it's pretty silly, but adorable.

I was curious why the running GIF was getting you ladies so hot and bothered, and motivated?  Maybe, the notion of running made you want to revisit your exercise regimen?

Then I looked at the GIF once again---more closely.  Case closed, mystery solved.

This is simply adorable!

Sometimes, we forget how gay the Unaired Pilot was; you can almost hear "Bella Notte" in the back-ground.

"Bella notte..."

Panel discussions from ComiCon are often fimed and uploaded to U-Tube.  We can watch Benedict's curls grow back.  The San Diego event is later this month.  His participation is for the Penguins panel and maybe Hobbits.

I think that an episode seen from Mycroft's POV would be fascinating.  We suspect that he is far more deeply implicated in events than alluded to in the recent season.  We have seen these characters from both John's and Sherlock's POVs so Mycroft's could reveal much including the reasons for his fear for Sherlock---"I worry about him constantly" "Your loss would break my heart".

Season 3 left a lot of loose ends; a flashback episode to the period between Sherlock's re-admission to the hospital and Christmas at the Holmes' could fill in a lot of plot holes:

~How much did Mycroft know about Mary's history?
~What's his deal with Moriarty?
~Why did Mycroft take his secure laptop to Christmas dinner?
~Did anyone read the AGRA files?
~Why did John reconcile with Mary--who wrote his "prepared words"?
~Who is the "other one"?
