Oh I love the Bromance and I think ACD did as well.  And as the modern writers of the show (and my avatar's movies) know; it IS an intricate part of the storyline.  Genius, such as Sherlock's, is usually coupled with a very "unsociable" personality.  To have someone finally connecting to him, as John does, can do nothing BUT gladden his heart, put a grin on his face, and make Sherl's life tolerable again.

DID I do this already on my intro???  Dunno, and I am too lazy to go back (at this point) to look.
I am a never married, older than Mrs. Hudson female who just lost her job last October and is still out of work.
I am an artist but that has had very little to do with my Profession and everything to do with my mindset.
My birthday is in mid-October.
I am and have always been a HUGE reader and can think of no greater good joy than that of reading a well written book. DOYLE is one of my favorite authors.
My mother sold World Book so she would hand me a volume to keep me occupied while she did ironing or sewing.  It was either that or the dictionary or the button box.
I fell in love with Sherlock Season 1 Episode !  I LOVE the BROMANCE!
ALL COLORS ...I LOVE ALL COLORS.
My name Ravensmum is my attempt to Anglicize RAVENSMOM which along with Stealing The Moon has been my computer identity since day one.
I play the feadog and the bodhran both; poorly and unfortunately for my neighbors, loudly.
I barely speak English.  And waited until I was nearly fout to do any such thing other than ME2!
Youngest of three sisters.
A fan of anything Holmes, Steampunk, and Victorian, Edwardian...a huge fan of Star Trek (Trekest), Star Wars, Tolkein, Bradbury...Wilde
Waterhouse is MY favorite artist.
ALL MUSIC but with a real affection for JAZZ.  Blue school...
sigh*  ANYTHING ELSE?

Wait..I said NOTHING about virginity...like Spock devoiding oneself of sexual emotions is tantamount to intellectual well being...but no one knows at this point WHAT the reality with Sheryl is...hell he could be a victim of child abuse...it IS NOT IMPORTANT WHAT HIS SEXUALITY IS...get it? Got It? GOOD!

SHERL is a high functioning Sociopath who has a "friend" and associate by the name of Watson, who is showing him his humanity...and "teaching" him what IT IS to CARE about another person...Sherlock at one point in his life CARED BUT that object of his love was taken from him (Redbeard)...so, in order for this young child to go on "He stopped himself from caring."  But now along comes John Watson and shows his WHAT IT IS TO BE HUMAN, WHAT IT IS TO CARE, THAT BEING HUMAN IS CARING...so he "learns" from John to CARE for Molly...to FEEL AROUSAL with Irene...TO FEEL COMPASSION for her and to save her...to CARE and UNDERSTAND Mary...SHERLOCK IS MORPHING INTO AN EMPATH!

A wave from across the pond.  hmm bit clumsy yet with this...
Alrighty then.  59 year old single, never been married lover of anything Holmsian...and this BBC series has me addicted.  Spent all day yesterday reviewing every episode to refresh my memory after having just seen Episodes 1 and 2, Season Three on PBS.
Have definately decided that not only is the writing brilliant but the soundtrack is superbly steampunkian and makes me grin.
Am anxiously awaiting Episode 3 Season 3.
