What I would prefer not to have :
- No baby on screen, with all the family going soft in the head around the cradle
- No girlfriend for Sherlock, it is not credible compared to the canon
- No come back of Irene Adler - I would see it as a repeat of what has been done so brilliantly in the past
- Less Mary on screen

Quick remark on Sherlock's pressure points. How can CAM know about Redbeard ? I mean the other pressure points could be 'relatively' publicly know due to John's blog and maybe some press reports, but how could he know about his pet when he was a child ?
Could it imply a connection with Mycroft who is one of the few knowing Redbeard (and having made a recent reference to it in TSOT) ? Could this potential connection be the reason why Mycroft wants to keep Sherlock away from CAM ?
I had the feeling that the way Mycroft used this reference in TSOT is relatively similar to CAM's use of it in HLV. Just one word to destabilize Sherlock.
What do you think ?

I agree that they didn't have sex together, the discussion in the hospital is clear enough.
I am not sure if he regrets the possibility to have this relationship though. When John and sherlock discuss in the elevator, sherlock says something like : 'I suppose that after that she won't want to see me again, but you are the women expert'. Sorry if I quote badly, I just watch it once and it is what I remember... Could it mean that he would have liked to continue seeing her ?

That would ruin the whole series for me

Same for me.

Hello Everyone !

My name is Victoire, I live in Brussels.
I have a long story with Sherlock Holmes. I started reading the stories far too young (thanks to my grand-father) and as a result I had the Adaman Islander staying at night in my wardrobe and generating countless nightmares !!!! Then I discovered the Sherlock Holmes cartoons and, when I was a little bit older, the TV show with Jeremy Brett. I immediately loved Jeremy Brett in the role of Sherlock Holmes and, until very recently, it was for me the best adaptation on screen possible.

I must say that I was quite reluctant about new adaptations. I tried to watch the first movie with Robert Downey Junior, but didn’t manage to watch it until the end. One of my friends discovered the BBC TV show and tried to convince me to watch it, but I refused. I had the feeling that it was a betrayal to put Sherlock Holmes in contemporary times. Finally she offered me the DVD of the 2 first series and I immediately felt in love with the stories, the actors and the cleverness of the Canon adaptations.
It just have seen the 3rd series on BBC and it is the first time that I am discovering it ‘live’, with all the rumors, the guesses, ect and I loved it. That’s the reason why I decided to join this forum !

Cheers
