Hi Andie,

I saw your name when you had just registered - I like it, very phonetical! Is Ciara pronounced sh-eye-rah?

I think you are our first bona fide Filipino member.

Welcome to the madness!

Thank you! I like it too, I'm using the username everywhere. And people here usually pronounce my name sharah so I go with that.

Hi Andie - nice to meet you and happy to have you on board! Hey...that's kind of a double meaning, lol.

Thank you Sherlock Holmes!

I'm a huge fan of The Hobbit, the book. I read it in less than 24 hours. xD And when I saw the trailer last December I couldn't stop freaking out. This will be my most awaited film for the year.

Freeman is the perfect Bilbo Baggins. I didn't know much about him when I saw the trailer (I haven't heard of Sherlock that time either) but I already had the impression that he fits the role very well. And fans of The Hobbit (the book) and the LOTR trilogy (books and movies) have long been rooting for him even YEARS before.

This is just epic, has anyone else seen this IMDb thread? =D

Take note of when the thread starter made the thread. It was in 2004.
It just proves it. xD Pretty much the most epic thread I've seen in my life.

You know you're obsessed when you can't stop using Sherlock's lines in situations that you find so appropriate.
When you can play the theme tune on the piano in whatever key.

I've already quoted him way too much for other people to actually point it out.

This wouldn't be accurate since I've watched the first four episodes twice and the last two episodes just once but anyway.

1. The Reichenbach Fall
2. The Great Game
3. A Scandal In Belgravia
4. A Study In Pink
5. Hounds of the Baskerville
6. The Blind Banker

Err the two season finales were my favorite epsidoes because they had Moriarty in it. And as you can see, Moriarty was also at the start of my # 3 (Scandal).

Kind of expected but this excites me nevertheless.
Though, I'm REALLY curious as to how long it will be after Sherlock's death? Definitely not three years, I hope.

So, yeah, I'm new here. I've signed up a couple of days ago but I haven't really posted, and before that I have already been lurking here.
It was fun just reading posts of fans of Sherlock (the fandom that tends to be really quite intelligent by the way).
Umm I'm not sure if there are Filipinos here, but it doesn't matter, it would be cool even if I am the first one.

My name is Ciara (but call me Andie) from the Philippines, 19, and I'm a big fan of Sherlock (and Doctor Who, I might add). That's about it. Hoping to meet people here who would keep me alive 'til Series 3 comes out. :D
