Just a little thing

I'm [older] so it really pleases me that, despite all of Sherlock's tech savviness, he still wears a wrist watch, and he and John still sit down to breakfast with actual paper newspapers.  I guess, the lesson is, ALL generations can enjoy Sherlock!

There's a lot of "old" women around here honey.  It's all fine.

Re: Just a little thing

I think a good show attracts people of all ages. The younger ones may be just a little more vocal, is all.

Re: Just a little thing

I like to remind myself that the creators aren't in their first flush of youth either!  Not that they're old, but I do notice particularly with Doctor Who (and sometimes with Sherlock, I think, although nothing is springing to mind) that a lot of their references are relevant to people of their age.  Which is fine by me, being about that age myself!

Re: Just a little thing

It's definitely a show that appeals to all age groups which is fantastic

Re: Just a little thing

I'm older too and I love the show! It's nice because I watch it with my 15 year old daughter and we talk about it all the time.

Re: Just a little thing

Well I'm in the 'younger' group (if 26 counts... according to Martin Freeman I'm just too old to watch Sherlock xD)

But I enjoy the 'man out of his time' thing... as much as it's fun to see them use modern technology... chat rooms and now twitter  (reminds me... I might need to download the twitter app and type to remember the password to that account I never use)

But I like that there's a mix of it.
