Is it really true that shortbread normally has orange flavouring?  I'm from the home of shortbread (Scotland) and have never known that and wouldn't normally add it myself!   Maybe it's a more modern tradition, or maybe more common abroad.  The recipe sounds delicious.   I'm really craving some homemade shortbread now (I don't make it any more because of calories).

I wouldn't add orange flavouring to shortbread, either - but I find the tea bag idea really lovely.
