I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Wow the black/white one is interesting (totally not my favourite face wise) but that look. You don't see him like that often, totally new expression for me on him.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

So much today, you guys. The third one you posted, Phantom, I know it's probably not what you liked in it but I found the depth of focus of the lens that was used interesting - you can how his face is in focus, but some of his hair, that would be a little closer to the camera, is out of focus, and of course the background is also out of focus.  Basically I think it's interesting that they chose such shallow focus for those close shots.
lol You can tell I take film classes.
