Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

At my old job, during my appraisal, my boss (British through and through) said that he had 'no problems with me'. Later on, his colleague told me 'that means he thinks you are really good'.

*headdesk*

If you want an insight into British behaviour, I suggest you check out the VeryBritishTweets twitter account... funny, but all extremely real!!

Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

Well ; I don't know where you come from, but being French , Brittishs are like our arch enemy   Their obsession with tea or the royalty is utterly strange for me Anyway, I like them nonetheless.
John needs to do something, seriously . Sherlock looks so miserable in S3, I'm surprised he didn't do anything about it

Jim Moriarty. Helloooo ! ~~

Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

I don't know, but from my experience, british men don't like the talking part but after three pints are quite willing to stalk you to your bedroom door. So if that's valid experience, Sherlock just has to forget about talking, get drinks and jump at John at some point
No, honestly, I think John and Sherl need to find ways to communicate. I am not sure if it needs to be sit down and talk about it, though.

Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

Well, they were on a good way during the stag night. Before Tessa barged in.

Might happen during a Three Garridebs moment with Sherlock desperately begging John to stay alive. Maybe then he will understand what he truly means to Sherlock. And vice versa.

Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

But I don't think John even realised that they need to communicate. I think he still clings to the idea that sherlock 'doesn't feel things that way'; which is why I believe he wasn't surprised or fazed to see that Sherlock had left the wedding early ('he got bored, these things aren't for him, he probably went to do something actually interesting for him'), not surprised that Sherlock didn't contact him for a month after the wedding ('he doesn't miss me, he doesn't feel things that way') and was actually surprised to discover that Sherlock killed Magnussen for him ('why would he? He's Sherlock. Who would he bother protecting?')

He isn't aware. He thinks they're fine as they are. So unless Sherlock actually grabs him and says, 'listen you dimdim, I actually meant to say that I love you when we were on that God damned Tarmac JFC why are you so slow OMG', John isn't going to do anything.

Isn't it the case of all men ?

It would be scary from any men but thinking about it from Sherlock seems perfectly fine

I think at the very least they might have shared a drunken snog followed by much guilty and confusion.

Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

Yes. I mean this is the first time both of them are sitting on the sofa AND Sherlock has his arm suspiciously close to John's neck.

The knee gropping was a flirt attempt ! John was testing the watter , and Sherlock clearly said he didn't mind !

Uh oh, John Watson!

Eventually everyone will support Johnlock.   Independent OSAJ Affiliate

... but there may be some new players now. It’s okay. The East Wind takes us all in the end.
