Re: Good morning, London!!!

There is a search function on top of this page, just saying because there is one for almost each episode and a few more. Search for Geman

Re: Good morning, London!!!

Concerning the dubbing: I also think that they more or less did a decent job, but some things just don't make any sense. And of course the voice of an actor in general is such an important instrument, just like gestures and the facial expression. And then Benedict's voice... you just can't find a German substitute for it, no matter how good a dubbing actor might be.

Re: Good morning, London!!!

@ harriet: Thank you!

@ others: Have you ever heard Alan Rickman's voice? In his role as Severus Snape in the HP movies - I'm melting whenever listening to him!!!
I think there are only a few very special voices that convince on any level ...

Hello Sabine!
Sorry I'm a bit late, but a warm welcome to you! Glad to have you around!
You didn't answer question tobe's question (tea?) so I'll just assume you said yes. I'll go and put the kettle on, shall I?

Lovely greetings back to France :-)! Salut! Well, I gratefully accepted tobe's offer: I asked for herbal tea (Earl Grey and any other black sorts of tea are toostrong for me), so I'm eagerly waiting for the water to boil :-).

There you go, dear, nice cup of warm herbal tea (hope you don't mind citrus flavoured?)

Re: Good morning, London!!!

citrus flavoured is perfect, thank you so much :-). Can I offer anything to you, by the way? But I'm afraid I don't have any bitter orange marmelade (HATE it!)
*sipping a bit of hot tea* - delicious!

Too late, but as you know it's holidays in Germany.
Herzlich willkommen, Sabine ( also one of my names ) and I know the feeling of stalking this place and not daring to join. And where am I now??

My hometown is laid at THE river here in Germany, we have a big uni also and carneval and good humoured people and a weird dialect and had a big big composer born here...;-)))
