Re: Star Trek (spoilers - for those who've seen it already)

Yes, that was actually quite good. As was the dog collar - or rather Sherlock's face above it. But that was pretty much all - I don't count fake tears or a big grin as a disguise... And I'm not suggesting to hide the face in any way - as we see from Khan Benedict can look completely different without any big, obvious changes.

Re: Star Trek (spoilers - for those who've seen it already)

I hadn't thought of Sherlock at the drug den as a disguise, but I guess it was.

The thing we have to remember though about Khan looking different from Sherlock (or other roles) is that he is bulkier as Khan than as Sherlock, so that makes him look physically different.  Khan is slim, too, but not to the same extent as Sherlock, and Sherlock doesn't have the same muscle bulk as Khan.  So it's not just acting.  But for Sherlock, the disguises have to be with acting and wardrobe, because he's not going to put on a lot of muscle mass.  So, yes, if we get any disguising it will probably be subtler.
