Benedict in new LoTR movie

In Peter Jackson's upcoming movie "The Silmarillion" Benedict will play the part of Beren Erchamion, human husband of elf princess Luthien

Re: Benedict in new LoTR movie

I would think so, Solar .   Supposedly, Peter Jackson doesn't have the rights to the Silmarillion.   It's a shame, though!

Re: Benedict in new LoTR movie

I have also heard that there will be a surprising twist in that movie: Beren will be revealed to be Sauron´s identical twin... gasp!

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Now this is a LOTR movie I would really look forward to.
