Re: RIP Terry Pratchett

Far too early.  And Alzheimers diagnosed aged 58? Didn't know that.

Re: RIP Terry Pratchett

Did he still write then in the last years?

Re: RIP Terry Pratchett

Yeah, he wrote as long as he could. At least until 2012, probably longer.

Re: RIP Terry Pratchett

I just read it, and I´m terribly sad.. although I already knew he was very ill in the last years.

Rest in peace, Sir Terry Pratchett, and thank you for all those wonderful books which will always hold a special place in my heart!

That was a challenge with Alzheimers, I think, depending on his condition.

In later years he would either dictate to his assistant or use voice recording.

Yes, could have been one possibility.

Re: RIP Terry Pratchett

I just came across this quote:
http://www.goodreads.com/quotes/965144-samuel-vimes-dreamed-about-clues-he-had-a-jaundiced-view

I love how he emphazises the "chaotic variety of the human experience"
but wonder if he adored Holmes or not at all ;-)
